I have been an active illustrator for several years. Displayed here are drawings of my own original characters of multiple ethnicities and fantasy/sci-fi locations for a book series I am developing. As I currently do not draw digitally, these are taken from my sketchbook and then scanned and coloured digitally using Adobe Photoshop.
However, they are still a testament to my skill level, which is that of a cartoon style.
All of the coloured illustrations were a part of my final year project for Royal Holloway University. I created a digital guidebook for my book series, featuing an outline of the plot for the first three books, descriptions and illustrations of up to 40 original characters and seven original locations, as well as a detailed outline of a unique magic system. I was graded 75%.
